FAQ
Do I need an account to play?
No. Everyone can play anonymously — pick a name and fighter in the lobby and you're in. Signing in is optional and only unlocks extras: a custom face photo and saved progress across games.
How many people can play at once?
Up to 8 players per room. Bigger team? Split into several rooms and run it as a tournament — losers' room, winners' room, grand final.
How do my colleagues join a game?
One person opens a game and becomes the host — the lobby shows a room link. Copy it, paste it into your team chat, and anyone who opens it lands in the same warm-up room. When everyone's in, the host presses Start.
Do we need to install anything?
Nothing. The games run entirely in the browser — Chrome, Firefox, or Safari on any laptop. A keyboard and a mouse are all you need.
Will it work on the office network or VPN?
Usually yes. Matches connect peer-to-peer over WebRTC, with a relay fallback for strict networks. If someone can't connect, the usual fix is hopping off the VPN or switching networks.
What happens if the host closes their laptop mid-game?
The match survives. Hosting migrates automatically to another player and the simulation continues from the last synced state — rage-quitting won't save anyone from losing.
Can I practice alone first?
Yes — Arena has a practice mode against bots, so you can learn to move, dash, and aim before embarrassing yourself in front of the team.
I can't hear any sound?
Browsers block audio until you interact with the page — click anywhere or press a key and the chiptune bleeps will kick in.
Something else broken or missing? Read the player's manual — or just start a game and find out.
